Paddle Ridgefield’s big dragon boats during the Big Paddle event! No experience needed- come give dragon boating a try! All equipment is provided. 1:30pm Dragon Boat Paddle with Vancouver Lake Dragon Boating The Refuge will be fee free during Big Paddle.

Group hikes will take place at 10am and 1pm, no registration necessary. To celebrate National Trails Day, head on a group hike led by the Friends of the Refuge from the Port of Ridgefield through the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. 1pm – Guided Refuge Hike with Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge Reservations must be made through Alder Creek Kayak here. The guided paddle is $25 and includes kayak, paddles, and a life jacket. 11:30am Guided Paddle with Alder Creek Kayakįrom 11:30 – 1pm, paddle participants will experience the sights and sounds of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, visit historical sites like where Lewis & Clark landed, and enjoy a fun GUIDED PADDLE. 10am – Guided Refuge Hike with Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge Join the Big Paddle with a seat on a Dragon Boat for free! No experience needed, all equipment provided. Alder Creek Kayak Ridgefield Location is conveniently located on Lake River.
Kayak, canoe or paddle board rentals must be arranged ahead of time on an individual basis.

There are limited seats available on two canoes led by Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership for $5. $5 BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat) registration covers your entry to the guided paddle. both Saturday and Sunday.We are excited to invite you to the Lake River waterfront for Big Paddle on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023! Guided Hikes & Paddle 9:30am – The BIG Paddleīe part of the BIG Paddle on Lake River Saturday morning! Join a flotilla of kayaks, paddle boards and canoes on a five mile roundtrip paddle along Lake River to the Columbia and back to the Port of Ridgefield Waterfront. The live music will be at the event 12:30 p.m.

The full schedule for garlic lectures and lessons can be seen here. Attendees can learn about growing and harvesting garlic, canning garlic and also attend lessons like "Black Garlic School," in which chefs will teach a class on cooking with black garlic. The festival will also offer informative lectures, garlic cooking demonstrations and live music and fresh garlic produce for sale. The Garlic Festival in Bethlehem takes place Saturday, Oct. According to the site, there are over 200 vendors for festival goers to choose from. The garlic festival will also have other vendors serving Thai food, craft macaroni and cheese, lobster rolls and more. The event is offering a variety of garlic-flavored foods from traditional garlic pizza and garlic-infused sausage to more unique offerings like garlic-flavored ice cream and garlic soda.
